Fire- “oz doesn;t show up on my daily weather report but hope the extinction of the polar bears ( obviously a plot funded by paul mccartney) isn;t cuasing too much brshfire.’ Hi ….Weather report is- Total Fire Ban, no naked flame outdoors, no tractors, chainsaws, lawnmowers or angle grinders to be used. Much of the State of Victoria has been ablaze since before Christmas. Bushfire raged out of the 1500 hectare Framlingham forest heading our way about a week ago. ‘Crownfire’- firestorm burning through the tops of trees with sound and speed of freight train. Came within 700 yards of us….ember attack all night…..shat my pants ;-) We/family/all are alive….which makes us “well and prosperous” ;-) (Saw, once more, the ‘true community’ that arises in disaster. Still longing to see it facilitated in the world ) Fire- ”it was interestin to watch relatively southern texas be closed for a day due to ice.” Texas? That tiny little State that would fit twice over into Western Australia? Close it down permanently…….it will never amount to anything. ;-) Seriously…ice huh!?....and here’s us facing the worst drought in history. Wild weather. Gonna get worse. Oil wars will be nothing compared to water wars. ”there's a line from hg welles and many others about "doomed to repeat it" which u may be here in time to watch made more behavioruly concrete....:-)” Yup…..And a number of good thesis pointing to the environmental element in the collapse of empires/civilizations (Rome with a Nth African bread basket etc). It’s a good thing that some know that the ‘Farmer comes first’ and all live rural (in the “place of souls”) supporting the land and local produce….huh?......;-) Take care xyz... ” kid we all got it coming” Interesting theological speculation .....reference to original sin perhaps? ;-) I would have thought the trick (justice) would reside in the capacity to explain to the “kid” precisely/specifically how and why he has “got it coming” hmmmmmmmmm?

	rod, hehehehhehe,i was actually thinking more about a scarecrow than the roman empire in the "repeat it" reference...:-) i've been in a crown fire a few times, but only on the 40-400 hectare scale. yeah. try having a 5 gal capacity squirt gun wit a range of 30 feet as self-defense, and a guy with a fire hoe for offense against one...:-) :"Still longing to see it facilitated in the world" a worldly peace, of the body and not the heart, the planet but not the spirit probly be achieved by the planet being forced into it. ur describng one of the forces. the nyt reported a few days ago ( i read them late, thoroly, and while waiting for sleep ..rarely sure o teh dates) that part of the "global warming" issues isthat the area around d.c., virginia etc got none of it for a long time, and usa wth that 3+ time zone thing thus senses things differently than england/france/germany/italy/spain where it's all one neighborhood. the pace of relatonships i such that last week there as a major train derlaiment about 50 miles from where i was, chemical fires, spills, toxins, yaydydaya..wind blowing from my direction. i heard about the derailment from a trckdriver 1900 miles away who called to see what i knew about it, since 36 hors later he needed to be there on hisway thru. next day i saw something on page 1 of newspaper. that night i was talking with a lovely chick born a couple miles from the fire who had heard about it from her mother who said, don't come visit this wekend, we're evacuated....again. if the wind had been blowing the other way, i woulda been drowned in useless information about how bad the smoke was, cancer, railroads, politics, tree-hugging, etc. --a concrete story aout how we all need to realise the Wind is blowing. at about 3 a.m. local time i was discussing the 1911 colt, and atlantis...was it thera, or was it a sub-continent. excellent video runnng mabe saying one or the other--sound drowned by the jukebox and left over poker players -- when it occurred to me there's no reason it isn't both... there is among the many, many subthreads of serpent wisdom, some of them fairly whacko, various vain imaginings left over from stories about times when civilisation got too far ahead of itself, going back a good 16,000 years. :"I would have thought the trick (justice) would reside in the capacity to explain to the �kid� precisely/specifically how and why he has �got it coming� hmmmmmmmmm? ---there's an easy answer: we don;t rise into grace thru our appeals to reason, logic, tradition, or havin read the "right" books. we fall into grace when we realise "it's in your spirit, that's where it matters." http://www.isound.com/serpent_wisdom
